How to set up a username for your Facebook business page
1
Before you begin, make sure that you have at least 25 "likes" on your Facebook business page. You must have 25 "likes" before Facebook will grant you a username. |
3
If you own more than one page or you are an admin on several pages, you will need to select which page you want to have a username. |
4
Once you have selected your page, type in a desired username like "marylandcrabs".
Tip: Make your username easy to remember and simple to place on a business card or website.
Example: facebook.com/marylandcrabs is easy to remember and simple enough to put on a business card or website. |
5
Once you have entered your desired username, click "check availability". |
6
Once you've clicked "check availability" Facebook will let you know if that username is available. If it isn't, try another username. If it is, you'll need to read some somewhat scary and final words from Facebook. |
7
Once you are doubly sure you want your desired username to be your Facebook page's new username, click confirm. Remember, you cannot make any changes after you click "confirm"! |
8
Once you click "confirm" you are all done! Congratulations! Your Facebook business page now has a username! |
