An Enhanced Modeling Framework for Bearing Fault Simulation and Machine Learning-Based Identification With Bayesian-Optimized Hyperparameter Tuning

In the realm of predictive maintenance, the monitoring of rotating machinery emerges as a critical practice. By keeping a close watch over rolling elements, which are under constant exposure to workloads, wear, fatigue, and eventual degradation, industries can significantly anticipate failures and reduce downtime. The outcome of this rigorous analytical process is quite impressive, with specific machine learning models, notably SVC and LightGBM, achieving accuracy levels surpassing 97%. This is achieved at a low computational cost, highlighting the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed framework.
