I/O Interactive Removes A Celebrity Elusive Target Permanently From Hitman: World Of Assassination

The company announced through their social media platform that they have ended their partnership with famous athlete Conor McGregor.

The announcement stated: “In light of the recent court ruling concerning Conor McGregor, IO Interactive has opted to terminate its collaboration with the athlete, effective immediately. We are treating this matter with the utmost seriousness and have decided to remove all content related to Mr. McGregor from our game and associated storefronts starting today.”

Hitman: World of Assassination acts as an expansive addition to Hitman III, essentially concluding the narrative arc that began with Hitman in 2016.
