At the core of this groundbreaking platform is the work of Audrey Brincat Dalli, the acclaimed author behind beloved television series such as Strada Stretta, L-Għarusa, and Iż-żmien Bejnietna. A Diverse Content Offering

Dr. Maris Camilleri from the Centre for the Maltese Language pointed out a concerning trend from a national survey: one out of every four parents aged 26-45 reported their children exclusively spoke English, with a limited understanding of Maltese. Perlina TV addresses this gap by introducing children to the Maltese language through interactive, enjoyable, and educational content.
With the support of Arts Council Malta, Perlina TV is set to start streaming in November, promising to be a landmark in Maltese-language children’s entertainment.
