Studio Technologies Introduces Model 352A and Model 354A Talk Stations

Studio Technologies has recently unveiled its innovative Model 352A and Model 354A Talk Stations. These units are specifically designed to support the cutting-edge Dante audio-over-Ethernet digital media technology, making them an excellent choice for a variety of voice paging applications. Whether it’s for theater performances, live events, or industrial settings, these devices promise to enhance audio communication. Moreover, they offer additional support for broadcast applications with their built-in IFB (talent cue) capabilities.

The Model 352A and Model 354A Talk Stations provide a comprehensive solution for routing voice and background audio. Additionally, they support the playback of pre-recorded audio files. The Model 352A features two independent “talk” channels, whereas the Model 354A boasts four independent “talk” channels. Each channel can be individually configured, ensuring that these units can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of different applications.

Both models are equipped with Dante capabilities, which include support for AES67 and the Dante Domain Manager (DDM) software application. An integrated monitor section enhances flexibility by allowing one of the two Dante receiver (input) channels on the Model 352A and one of the four Dante receiver (input) channels on the Model 354A to be routed as needed to a connected amplifier or amplified speaker.

Doubling Down on Dante

The Model 352A and Model 354A Talk Stations are versatile enough to support a wide range of general-purpose paging applications. Thanks to their configurable features, these units ensure compatibility in numerous scenarios. For instance, in theater or event-space applications, the devices can be strategically placed in a box office or manager’s office, allowing for efficient communication. Users can store and playback two pre-recorded messages whenever necessary, adding to their utility.

Broadcast environments can also benefit significantly from these units. The Model 352A can function as a stand-alone 2-channel IFB (talent cue) master station, while the Model 354A can be deployed to create a comprehensive 4-channel IFB (talent cue) master station. This dual functionality enables personnel to use the Model 352A and Model 354A both as a voice paging console and a monitoring resource, streamlining operations within various settings.

In conclusion, Studio Technologies’ new talk stations are set to redefine audio communication in diverse environments. By integrating advanced Dante technology and offering versatile configuration options, the Model 352A and Model 354A Talk Stations provide users with a powerful tool to meet their specific audio needs.
