Is That AI or Can It Go Away?
In an event hosted by the Heilbronn Employment Agency at Schunk’s Brackenheim-Hausen site, the call to action was clear: “Try it out!” With over 70 companies and several partners, including the TUM Campus Heilbronn, the gathering showcased the essence of artificial intelligence (AI) in today’s competitive landscape.
Moved to accommodate the large turnout, the event titled “AI – my competitive advantage of tomorrow,” aimed to demystify AI for businesses. Schunk’s CTO, Timo Gessmann, encouraged businesses to embrace AI, emphasizing the value of experimenting with this technology.
Beyond presentations, the event featured informational stands, where experts like Dr. Leonard Przybilla and Bettina Berscheid from TUM Campus Heilbronn shared insights on education and collaboration opportunities in AI. This highlighted Heilbronn’s ecosystem as a hub for digital transformation research and development.
Highlighting practical applications, Dr. Robert Rost from Xactools and Prof. Dr. Nicolaj Stache from Hochschule Heilbronn provided insights into AI-powered tools and encouraged experimenting with AI technologies.
The event concluded with a tour of Schunk’s CoLab, demonstrating automation processes’ feasibility tests. This session underscored a significant takeaway: the readiness of businesses to explore and implement AI technologies.
From enlightening talks to hands-on demonstrations, the event successfully conveyed the message: AI is here, and it’s time for businesses to dive in and play with what it has to offer.
