SEND Arcade Launches NFT Entry Pass for Squad Game Season 2, Inspired by Squid Game

The much-anticipated Season 2 of Squad Game by the SEND Arcade has officially been unveiled. This Solana-based on-chain game, inspired by the globally acclaimed Netflix series “Squid Game,” is set to enthrall gaming enthusiasts yet again. Starting December 30, players can mint their entry passes on Magic Eden, presenting an exclusive opportunity to dive into this thrilling experience.

In total, there are 456 NFT entry passes for Squad Game Season 2, all available for minting on Magic Eden. Each pass is priced at 0.69 SOL, aligning with a current market value of approximately $133,177. The release process consists of two distinct phases, ensuring both exclusivity and inclusivity.

The initial phase is reserved for whitelisted wallets, which qualify by holding over 50,000 SEND tokens as of the teaser’s announcement. This phase opens at 13:11 UTC and closes at 16:11 UTC. During this exclusive window, each wallet can mint up to two entry passes. Following this, the public phase commences at 16:20 UTC, allowing all wallets the opportunity to participate. At this time, nearly half of the available passes have already been claimed, highlighting the quick uptake by eager participants.

Echoing the thrilling themes of “Squid Game,” Squad Game invites players into an exhilarating series of challenges that unfold over three weeks, scheduled to kick off in January 2025. As more participants are eliminated, the prize pool continues to grow, reflecting the high stakes and intense competition synonymous with its inspiration.

The game’s opening challenge demands that players select one of four symbols: a circle, triangle, star, or umbrella. The symbol that is chosen by the fewest participants is marked as the Death Symbol, leading to the elimination of those who selected it. This adds an intriguing layer of strategy and unpredictability to the game, capturing the essence of the original series.

Another gripping phase, reminiscent of the infamous “Red Light, Green Light” from the Squid Game series, is the second round: “Red Light, Red Light.” In this high-tension scenario, those who falter under the pressure of precision and patience face elimination. The outcomes from these and other rounds are still recorded from the last Squad Game conducted in September, maintaining a legacy of winners on the leaderboard.

There is an air of mystery surrounding the exact details of Squad Game Season 2, especially regarding whether it will feature the familiar challenges from its predecessor or introduce entirely new ones. Squid Game Season 2 promises a mix of old and new elements, suggesting that Squad Game might also follow this hybrid path to offer players a novel yet familiar experience.

SEND Arcade’s latest initiative is a testament to the enduring appeal of merging popular culture with gaming, crafting a unique virtual landscape that demands both grit and cunning. As 456 gaming enthusiasts gear up to tackle this new chapter, the excitement is palpable, with many eager to see just what twists await in the virtual arena.

Whether you’re strategizing your entry symbol or readying yourself for the challenging rounds ahead, Squad Game Season 2 is set to deliver an unforgettable gaming saga inspired by the thrilling dynamics of its iconic predecessor. The clock is ticking for those who dare to mint their passes and enter this digital survival arena.
