Slated for release on June 20, 2024, the game is set to enchant players on multiple platforms, including PS5, PS4, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch. It introduces a captivating dungeon-crawling JRPG experience, meticulously crafted to immerse players in the fantastical world of Mushoku Tensei.

Quest of Memories comes packed with two engaging modes, ensuring a comprehensive adventure for fans and newcomers alike. The primary mode, “Dead End Tale,” spins an original narrative centered around the trio of Rudeus, Eris, and Ruijerd. In this mode, players embark on an assortment of quests sourced from the adventurers’ guild, exploring diverse environments drawn from the anime, including the mysterious Demon continent and the Petrified Forest. With a classic dungeon-crawling RPG setup, participants navigate a detailed map, engaging in strategic combat against familiar adversaries from the anime.

The adventure deepens with the second mode entitled “Roxy’s Tale,” which delves into previously unexplored narratives featuring Roxy, Elinalise, and Talhand. This mode offers players a unique perspective as the trio undertakes a quest to locate Rudeus, introducing an emotional depth and broadening the game’s narrative scope.

Beyond Quest of Memories, Bushiroad Games has announced several other anime-based titles, showcasing their commitment to bringing beloved anime worlds into the gaming sphere. Among these are the JRPG Goblin Slayer: Another Adventurer – Nightmare Feast, scheduled for a February 24 release on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, and Macross: Shooting Insight, set to make its debut on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on March 14.

More recent reveals include Danmachi: Fulland of Water and Light and Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact. These titles were part of a showcase at an event in Tokyo Dome in January. While specifics regarding platforms or release dates remain under wraps for these games, the anticipatory buzz among fans suggests that these titles will follow closely in the successful footsteps of their predecessors. As such, the gaming community eagerly awaits further updates on these promising ventures.
